What was the fate of the Jews of this city during the Holocaust?
On 1941, a concentration camp was established for all Jewish males in Fălticeni plus Lespezi and Liteni villages. About 5,000 Jews from the Fălticeni area were deported in Bessarabia and Transnistria , and only about 3,700 returned at the end of the war.
